U.S. Embassy Ottawa

The United States Embassy is located in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, Ontario. The Embassy houses the U.S. Ambassador, more than 10 departments, and more than 200 employees. The U.S. presence in Canada serves to maintain positive relationships between the two countries.

The Public Affairs section is entirely devoted to fostering mutual understanding between Canadians and Americans. EducationUSA works closely with the Cultural Affairs team in Ottawa and with the Consulates across Canada. The U.S. Mission in Canada has a presence in seven of Canada’s major cities in the form of U.S. Consulates. The Consulates in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal have Public Affairs teams who work closely with EducationUSA.
