Canadian Hockey League players now eligible for NCAA D1!

The NCAA council recently voted in favor of granting CHL hockey players eligibility to play for Division 1 ice hockey programs in US Universities! The NCAA had previously deemed these athletes ineligible for this as some players would sign contracts with professional NHL teams whilst playing in the CHL. This change will likely greatly improve the talent in NCAA hockey, but only applies to Division 1, for Division 3 programs CHL players are still ineligible. Learn more here

University of Notre Dame, Now a Need-Blind School!

The University of Notre Dame, one of the top universities in the US, has recently announced their transition to becoming Need-Blind in their university admissions process. This means that any financial need is not taken into account at all in the process of admissions, and is only relevant after the admissions decision is made!

Youth Ambassadors featured in the local news!

12 youth ambassadors sit on a low wall. Behind is the reflection pool and the U.S. senate building in Washington D.C. The Canadian Youth Ambassadors have completed their summer exchange to the United States! The 12 youth and 2 adult mentors went to Tulsa, Oklahoma for their homestay and then visited the national monuments in Washington, D.C. When in Tulsa, they were featured in the local newspaper!
